Biochar is a carbon-rich, natural soil conditioner. It is produced by heating plant-based biomass in an oxygen-limited environment.

Usage Instructions
Mix Karuppu biochar with compost in equal parts
Let it rest for a week to enhance
its nutrients and microbes
Best used at the time of planting, added to the soil mix.
For new plantings, consider the area the roots will grow and add enough Karuppu biochar to make it about 10% of the soil mix in that root zone.
For standing plants, mix with compost and add it to the soil in the root zone.
